"Suan Tulip Non" makes the Impossible Happen!
Since late 2007 onwards we have been "Bringing Holland Home", thousands and thousands of visitors experienced bright - vibrant selection of tulips and other Dutch varities produced and cultivated in our Greenhouse at "Suan Tulip Non" located on Chaengwattana Road, Nonthaburi.
Although it is generally assumed that tulips will flower only once in gardens and parks, and in real cold climate, extensive trials conducted have shown that the bulbs have to undergo a cold period for a minimal length of time and under controlled growing conditions, flowering can be made to occur.
The Tulip is or "Laleh" as it is called in persian, means "turban" describing the flower's shape. The flower and its name originated in the Persian Empire. Actually the Tulip is a true symbol of love, especially Red Tulip means to show to the world that "I Love You" in particular the "Bastogne" variety which was given to the husband by his wife before he left for the battle field held in Bastogne, Belgium in Dec., 1944.
